How can you tell if your transfer cover is going or is bad and what and where is the tranfer cover located.

transfer cover? you mean case? um...if you can't drive anywhere and your driveline is bound up might be a sign...and if there is loud clunking and banging noises that cause a ton of jerking shortly followed by an abrupt stop
