Check your fluid level and service the tranny if it's overdue (50,000 mile interval). That Jeep has a four speed with overdrive. It's normal to feel an upshift over 55 mph by letting up on the gas. You can call it 5th gear but it's OD. The 4.7 liter V-8s had the five speed plus OD.
