Won't run

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee cam position sensor circuit code keeps coming
on & I have replaced it twice and it still won't start. It acts like it wants to start
but doesn't. I don't have any other codes on the scanner so I at a stand still.
Could a bad cat do this or an o2s?

Your Jeep has a cam position sensor AND a crankshaft position sensor. Make sure you are replacing the right one. The cam sensor code is p0340, the crank sensor is p0320. The cam sensor located to run off the distributor shaft. The other is on the bell housing. Both provide signal for spark and injector.
I have replaced both sensor to tech book & included instructions
Thirst it had a crank position sensor so I replaced that then the cam position sensor cam up so I replaced that. Fuel pressure is 40 not running .cant check when running

Okay. It should run on 40 psi fuel pressure but it is rated at 60 psi. If you should change the fuel filter, note that it has the fuel pressure regulator inside the filter housing......two for one. Next, I would test for spark. Has to be a spark or a fuel problem.
Has spark .jusp picked up fuel filter.tryingthat next
