Asked by Kara Feb 20, 2016 at 09:05 AM about the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My jeep has the check engine light on, when it was
on it read that a can shaft sensor needed repair.
Well that's fine, this morning I started the car there
was minor ticking in the engine, and when I got
about 2 miles from home the engine lost all rpms
and I noticed all of my coolant was leaking out.
What could have happened? When it happened
there was no check engine light on.

The vehicle won't start, so it can't be driven. The engine also wasn't reading as hot either. It was normal, which was extremely odd. The coolant leaked out as if a hose blew off or something
