Labor cost for a 2001 Grand Cherokee replacement?

To remove the old engine and replace with another, either used or new, and get it all hooked up is usually 8 to 12hrs labor. Call around to a few shops in your area for a quote.

The above is true provided you are not trying to swap in the wrong/different engine or the same engine but from a different year. Incorrect swaps are best avoided.
