U should b able to as long as both transmissions are the same. U will have to change the back of the 2wd transmission with the back of the 4wd transmission to b able to bolt the transfer case back on the transmission.

Would a 2001 Grand Cherokee 2wd Trans work in a 2001 Cherokee 4wd? If not could i use that trans at all in the 4wd by converting anything?
