i can hear the ac working but the air is not coming trough the vents inside anymore

there should be a cable to change the air doors...perhaps nowadays there isn't a cable anymore but a series of servo motors...these would be fused and/or have a relay...check the fuse and relay for this function...wish I could tell you more....will give it more time, later...thanks~

is it blowing through the defrost vents? if it is, you have a vacuum leak. go to jeepforum.com and use the search on there and it will give you ways to check and lots of info

recirc door has broke and is covering fan. Remove blower motor and remove broke door.
