Will a 2002 driveshaft fit in a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee??

Asked by JeepFilly Dec 28, 2016 at 02:33 PM about the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a
seized engine. I found a 2002 Jeep Grand
Cherokee that needs a drive shaft to make
the 4x4 to work. Mine is also a 4x4. My
question is, before I buy the 2002, will my
driveshaft work from my 2001?? Another
difference is mine is a Limited and the
2002 is a Laredo.

1 Answer

Take some measurements to see. I am guessing the drive shaft was removed because the 4wd has a problem so expect problems.
