Fuel regulator

Your fuel pressure regulator is actually part of the fuel filter assembly located in front of the fuel tank above the rear axle. Finding that hard to believe it is two in one, I sawed the old filter assembly in half and sure enough, there was the filter and the pressure regulator. And I found that part on Ebay for only $15 and replacing it actually made my 1999 Grand Cherokee Limited run better and get better mileage. This should be done every 50,000 miles or less. I hope this helps.
My dad said his 95 grand Cherokee fuel regulator goes on top of the fuel pump in the gas tank

GuruWH611, You are correct on the location of the fuel pressure regulator on your Dad's 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but I think Molly is asking about her 2003 model year. The WJ Jeep was 1999-2004 and they were fundamentally the same. But thank you for your additional information. A lot of those 95's are still on the road and running strong.
Very helpful could not find the regulator any were

On Jeep Grand Cherokees 1999-2004, the fuel pressure regulator is inside the fuel filter assembly. Inside. Get out your hacksaw and cut the fuel filter assembly in half and inside will be the regulator. Inside. Inside. Inside...............................
Got a Jeep Cherokee and it runs for 20 minutes the. Dies, changed position sensor, and fuel filter now it won't start

The Cherokee engine has a camshaft position sensor and a crankshaft position sensor. I had a brand new camshaft sensor that failed immediately, but ran on the old one. Also, the crankshaft position sensor has to be pushed into the bell housing hole until it touches the flywheel, then pull it back 0.030 inches, tighten it there. Check your codes...cam sensor P0340.....crank sensor P0320.

If I buy a rebuild kit for my fuel pump assembly, am I correct to assume that the fuel pressure regulator will be in that kit?? Also, is the sending unit another name for fuel pressure regulator?? Thanks!
