More like a fuel problem. When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? Any Check Engine Lights on?

Not the fuel filter. No check engine light. Garage stated they found shavings in the pan today ... so it looks like a tranny job in my future but thanks for the thought. I've had 4 new cars over the last 32 years, put a minimum of 250K on each with only one needing a new tranny at 180K. I just thought it odd that I'd have a tranny problem at only 80some K.
