You will need everything from the other vehicle, computers, wiring, engine, transmission. If you think this will be a nightmare to do your right.
I don't think that's entirely true, the transmissions are the same for both vehicles, the 545rfr was standardized as the 5 speed. But I'll cross that when I cross that.
The calibration codes for what? And how do I calabrate them?
Each computer is calibrated for every vehicle it is in, that calibration is used to control transmission shift points, engine timing across the rpm range, injector pulsewidth, etc. some even control the cruise control and other accessories, that is why you can't swap computers from one vehicle to the next even they are the same year, make and model. Most computers have the calibration numbers on them so if they do wind up at a rebuilders they can to it. There are some hot rod places that have access to computer tuners and re-programmers than can go in the basic programming language and change operating processes, all depending on what you want the computer to do. However everything cost money.
