I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a new water pump. It is missfiring and the antifreeze looks like a greyish color. Now the check engine light blinks sometimes when driving it. I burped the jeep after the water pump. Any suggestions?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought this from a buy here pay here.  When it started acting up I told them and their  reply was you bought is as is.   SMH....   Any suggestions would be helpful since I am still paying $400 a month for the Jeep.

The misfire would be unrelated to the water pump unless your engine is severely overheating. The CEL is warning you of an issue but without the fault codes I could only guess.
