Cars popping when I accelerate

Why is my 1993 Lincoln Town Car popping when I give it gas

DOES IT SOUND LIKE MISFIRE POP

Does it pop out the exhaust or intake? My first thought was valves. If popping from exhaust, maybe an exhaust leak?

Wow, on a 25 car, could be lot of things. Start with plug wires (at night might flash if bad) worn bad boots, check plugs, rotor, distributor cap for cracks, etc. Has it been more than 30k since fuel filter? Check engine timing, as timing chains stretch and wear out on old cars. The timing chain in my 88 TC stretched enough, that it slapped the cover and caused it to leak oil. It ran stronger after new chain.
