Nope! Just fix the ABS/TC and all will reset on its own. Did you replace the sensor based on the code or did you actually check the signal and resistance of the sensor and find it faulty? Many people make the mistake of thinking that Automotive diagnostics is just "Read the Code, change the part and all is good" - Nope! If you follow the diagnostics for a rear wheel speed sensor code, resistance check the sensor at the ABS unit - it verifies the wiring (for that sensor) through the car and the sensor itself. Also, have you checked all of the fuses? The 2 most common failures I find with these systems are NOT the sensors themselves. #1 - the ABS module itself. #2 - a failed axle bearing that allows the sensor ring to strike the sensor. For giggles: the third most common ABS/TC system I see is when an Deputy decides he needs to bolt a weapon holder through the floor next to the driver's seat and damages one of the 6 wiring looms that run through there with a screw or drill.

Ami me pasó lo mismo. Cambie el módulo ABS del Town car 2000 y lo digital y velocímetro ya funciona pero el testigo de control ABS y aguja temperatura no. Alguien sabe que puede ser?

Sounds crazy had the exact problem with 01 town car, and it was intermittent. Checked power, fuses, wheel speed sensor connections etc. Found a vid suggesting to power wash back of wheel as sometimes bud or debris can cause the sensor not to read the signal from the ring on the axle. Gave it a try, it worked. Everything working fine, problem has not come back.

I got a TCS model from another Lincoln towncar , same year, change the TCS module and correct the issue right away. Everything went back to normal.

I couldn't find a replacement module anywhere for my 2001 TownCar so I sent mine off to eBay user ModuleRepair. Around $150 later... (that includes shipping both ways). That fixed the odometer, speedometer, ABS light, brake light and control center. Completely worth it and the car was only down about a week. The wires that tend to come loose are finer than a human hair. I'm pretty good at soldering and they were too tiny for me to attempt it.
