Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 1999 Lincoln Town Car that had been
sitting for a lil over a year. When I bought the car I
was told that the car just needed a battery and air
in the tires. I bought a battery for it and placed the
battery in the car and went to start the car but I
noticed when I opened the door that no lights
came on but didn't worry too much so I continued
to start the car but when I turned the key nothing
happened. I've been told many things that could be
the problem but I've had a lot of my questions
answered by ur forums so I thought I'd give u guys
a call for help and see if u could bail me out on this
one also? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
