how do I repair the instrument cluster in a 2004 lincoln town car?

I own a signature series 04 towncar with a cluster that sometimes is blank I am sure odometer is turning but am nervous about conneticut state inspection I have also found out this part is no longer available is there anyway I can get my car to pass inspection

Buy cluster from used 2004. Take your circuit board out and put it in the one you bought. Thats what i did Light camee back on . Working like it should.
