Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After driving my 2006 Town Car Signature Limited in the rain, a puddle of water

dripping for about 10 minutes.

Just the rain dripping off if it is clear water. If it were gas, you would smell it.

Look under the hood. On both sides up by the windshield is a plastic grate that lets water flow into a small basin, at the bottom corners of that basin are outlets that are covered with a rubber flapper. Stick your finger through the outlet. It’s probably plugged with debris and causing a back up making the water run out slower.
