99 Grand Marquis won't stay started

99 Grand Marquis starts after a minute
or two will run and then all the sudden
it stalls like it's out of gas and it stops
wait a few minutes and it'll start again
what can it be

I would first try a fuel filter, then if that doesn't help have the fuel pressure tested. It may have a bad fuel pump or clogged filter. Be warned that throwing parts at it is almost never a good idea.

check the fuel pressure, & filter. Try running it with the gas cap loose in case evap is clogged.
