First has it had been in for the recall? The cruise control TSB "fire hazard" the Ford Dealer will splice into the harness and install a 2-3amp fuse in the cruise control circuit. There are two "prongs" with a "bridge" holding the two prongs together. The "bridge" on some are broken and do not make sufficient contact. I had to bypass the emergency cut-off switch above the brake pedal. I bought a new one, but it wasn't right. Works fine now.
