My cruise control stop working, is there a chance it is in the switch in the steering wheel, checked fuse and it is OK.

First has it had been in for the recall? The cruise control TSB "fire hazard" the Ford Dealer will splice into the harness and install a 2-3amp fuse in the cruise control circuit. If this has been done run the self diagnostic test, Check the connector that slips over the retainer on the SERVO control... on many there broken and not making good contact. There are two "prongs" with a "bridge" holding the two prongs together. The "bridge" on some are broken and do not make sufficient contact. Use a "zip" tie to secure the connector in place or replace the connector No more problem. This is done after people replace a few parts without paying attention to the simplest details.

I had to bypass the emergency cut-off switch above the brake pedal. I bought a new one, but it wasn't right. Works fine now.
