97 mitsubushi eclispe syder gs 2.4L . Have to rev engine a couple of times so the car will stay on . does anybody have a clue what that could be.

Sounds like your idle air control valve is dirty or faulty.

Sounds like you have one or more Injectors that are clogged,I had this problem with my 96 GS and after the Injectors were flushed it never happened again.You can also have the Barometric sensor tested,that could also be the problem.
