Is there a way of bypassing it besides a toggle switch and thank you Kenf
IDK, but this thread might help you; http://www.grandamgt.com/forum/showthread.php?t=74971 . I'm assuming you don't have the master key anymore?

It doesn't have the key with a chip in it but I do have the key for the new ignition that I put in it
That explains it. Your anti-theft is activated, and you need to either reprogram it to accept a new master transponder key or find the original master key. The passlock sensor in the ignition is encoded to the engine's computer and passlock module. I can understand if you lost the original key and have to "hack" the system to use the car, so try this link (http://www.bergerweb.net/grandamsecurityfix.htm), but in my opinion you can make this situation a lot worse by cutting wires in an attempt to bypass the anti-theft versus just getting a new master key programmed.
