If it is really smoke and not steam, you probably spilled some oil on an exhaust manifold or have a leaking gasket that is allowing oil to leak onto either the block or exhaust manifold. If it is steam, you will need to investigate your cooling system by inspecting things like the radiator and cap, water pump, thermostat housing, intake gasket, heater core, and all hose connections tying them together.
