reduce engine power

Asked by Cherise02 Jan 02, 2016 at 06:28 PM about the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While I was driving my car and pressing the
gas pedal it would not rev up or make car go
but it never stalled. I would coast to a side
street. It's happen 4 times in the past 5 days
and the service abs light comes on and
traction light but they pretty much stay on.
This reduce engine power is all new to me.

I had the same problem and had to get a new gas pedal. or throttle body the sensors inside both have to "agree" get the codes read out and see if either one of those pop up. change the pedal first if have too. its a lot cheaper
