You may definitely want to take apart the console and see what is creating the smoke. Does it have an electrical burn odor to it? This could be a potential fire hazard and I would look at it ASAP!

Really! Listen to Mark there, make sure your insurance is paid to date, don't diddle around or you may have a serious issue, and meantime DO NOT put children in the car.

Mark today i did take the console apart and started the car and let it run for awhile and nothing there is no burns or burnt wires so i let it run i felt the floor in the console and it was getting hot.I went out of the car and took a look under and right where the console is,is the converter can the converter be going bad?

It's normal for the converter to get hot. Is it possible you maybe lost a heat shield over the converter? A bad converter is possible and may build excessive heat, but you would most likely be getting codes from the O2 sensor and the smoke concerns me. Possible engine oil leak getting on the exhaust coming up through the car? It's good that you looked at it. Having piece of mind at least knowing nothing is going to catch on fire.
