the tranny over heated an gave out
eouosnt go forward anymore an would
only move in Reverse im wondering
what the cause would be. The femp of
car goes from normal to really high not
even a few mins into driving

a low coolant level due to a leak, a stuck closed thermostat, head gasket issue, plugged radiator, etc. You need to do some more testing.
