Question type: General

I have a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Gxp that
I bought used from a dealership 6 years
ago i have never had had a problem with
state safety and emissions until this year
the tech told me they couldn't pass the
because the tail light are tinted I have not
installed after market lights I was looking at
the light when I got home and there's
marking on light that make think their oem
they have GM stamped on them from the
molding process I'm just trying to figure
out if GM at the time did in fact have a
