90 Corvette Courteous Lights

When I park my 1990 Corvette Convertible, turn off ignition, courteous lights in
both doors, foot pans and rear storage remain on.  will stay on until battery is
dead.  Have temporarily removed fuse.  Any idea what the problem might be.

Only thing that comes to my mind is to check the buttons in the door jams that the doors press against.

common problem in these cars, i had the same thing. Your alarm will also start to sound at anytime also. This is the door switch or also called button that causes this. You need to pull the fuse until you get it fixed, not an expensive job to do.
