Silly question. Just bought the car and cannot figure how to lower the convertible top. Any amswers? Thanks, Michael

Just bought my 1990 Corvette Convertible.
Love the car, but it is time to put the top down and I cannot figure it out.
I have released the latch on the top by the front windeshiel, but then what?
Any help would be wonderful.

Under the boot behind the drivers side is a button and also on the outside door jamb of each door is a button. Push any of them and it will release the boot locking mechanism. also in the center under the boot is a lever attached to 3 cables. pull on this lever and it will unhook the pins that lock your soft top into the boot.
