the tensioner pulley on the air compressor
drive belt is shot. I ordered a brand new
brake and adjust bolt and clamp and that
whole deal but I am just wondering if I am
still able to drive without that belt for a
couple of days til my parts come in

if the only thing that belt drives is the AC compressor then yep
^^as above. Just make sure yours has the two belt setup. One on the outside for the alternator and power steering and then the smaller one on the inside is the AC compressor. The water pump and oil pump are ran on the timing belt so those are good. I've seen some outbacks with just one serpentine belt so I don't know if they ever mixed and matched. Best regards,
