Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 Subaru Forester has an alarm that is malfunctioning.  Apparently this is an 'after-market' alarm that we weren't aware was even there until yesterday (had for 2 years and never new there was an alarm).  Now it goes off every time we enter the car.  Any tips on how to disable?

I would have a shop that sells alarms remove it.
