Thanks Nick for your answer, my 92 Legacy wagon doesn't have the fuse in to bypass the AWD. Any other suggestions?

The fuse is one of the first things I checked. Sounds like maybe the center diff.?Didn't know they had one. Any other ideas.

Well could you give me a little background on the issue? Is this a car you recently bought and you just noticed this or is it somthing you've owned for a while and know that the AWD was working at one point? Does it make any funny sounds or feel weird while driving it?
