Reverse not working in my 2006 chevy cobalt
Transmission shifts as it should in forward. Reverse just
quit , will not do anything in reverse.
Low/dirty transmission fluid, plugged transmission filter, a worn valve body, fault shift position sensor, and the lockout ring (in manuals) would be the first things I would check before really getting into the transmission....if when doing a transmission you notice metal shavings, (possibly small chunks) I would look at the teeth on your reverse gear
