Subaru Outback 2001 manual not starting, has petrol.

Asked by Jonbabo Aug 16, 2019 at 08:09 PM about the 2001 Subaru Outback Limited Wagon

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, car started and I let it warm up for a bit then after 3
minutes it stopped and wouldn't start again. Oil was very
low so I put some in. Still won't start. Battery is working.
quarter tank of petrol. Belt is running when turn the
ignition to start it. I did get in a minor fender bender two
days again that dented the front left bumper but have
driven it twice since then. Any ideas would be very
appreciated. Let me know if there other clarifications
required.
Thanks

running it low on oil may have had something to do with it . At any rate the same procedures as always , test for proper fuel pressure and spark , see if the injectors are firing

Hey, guys thank you for your help. Timing belt was not replaced at 100K and broke. No good!
