Question type: General

I was thinking i had a wheel out of balance because i was getting a shake in my
steering wheel. So i went to Schwabs and the balance all the wheels. Then they put it
on the alignment rack and guess what? all of the wheels spun freely except we got to
the front drivers and it would not turn. So i replaced the caliper. so far so good. I think
whats bothering me is why would a caliper go bad? Is there anti lock brakes on my car
and could have this been a computer problem. Or a traction control problem?

no, the piston in caliber corroded from water getting past the caliber piston boot and seized the piston holding it in the on position , heating up the rotor and heat warp the roter for a waive y ride ,
