Can you put a 2010 Chevy HHR motor on a 2006 Chevy HHR? Are they compatible?

sure...use the electronics with the 2010 set up.

I have a 2010 that the same thing happened. I had to redid the heads with new valves etc then 51 miles later lost piston. Will sell heads or whole car if u interested. I bought a 2010 HHR. Email me @ popdadmonkey@gmail.com if interested
