Cooler air on passenger side

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When i have the heater on its blowing cool air on
passenger side ...it is dual climate control ....both settings
are at same temp......if it is an internal head gasket issue
would it be ok or try and put some gasket repair stuff
from Bars leak in the coolant to limp it along till i can do
the actual gaskets.....does it work?

GA's probably correct. Take off the center stack and look for a disconnected link to the blender door. OTOH, if you've neglected to mention significant coolant temp fluctuations or need to chronically add coolant then indeed you'll need a proper $1.6k HG job. NO additive can quench either an internal high pressure "percolation" nor an atmospheric (more common) leak off the #4 cyl corner. Good luck. Ern TSG/B
