Dome light.

Are the map lights supposed to go on when you open the front doors? The dome light behind the sunroof goes on but the maplights next to the sunroof switch don't. I am looking at a used one and it seems really dark from the drivers seat(black interior)at night. Concerned that there might be a electrical problem.

no, they don't come on with the dome. try replacing the lamp in dome light with a new, extra bright, after market one (but not the 'cool blue' kind, as they are dimmer than stock) Cheers

There is a MOD for that that takes about 1 hour. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23139 All the instructions with pictures are on that link. I did it 2 months ago and it is very nice!
