Loss of steering and ABS and T/C light

I read your symptoms are a common problem on your vehicle. Chevy used use an electric power steering pump which fails. It also sounds like your steering column connection to the pump has failed as well. I am surprised it took this long to surface as others have had it happen much sooner in ownership. Have your car towed to a garage and or mechanic who can perform the repairs. In all cases the pump would need to be replaced and sometimes the steering column. This is a serious safety issue for you and others on the road, so do not continue to drive the vehicle till it is repaired.
Tell by scared the crap out of me Thank God I was alone and didn't have children or grandchildren with me
Im a little hesitant to lean towards pump tho. Please let me explain. So I bought this car 3 weeks ago and the day I test drove it I told the dealer "front end is COMPLETELY shot" but I got some really good lip service about replacing lower control arms for me and new rim blah blah. Since then I've literally ripped in half CV axel, new front struts and yes I've had to redo lower control arms and in the process of buying one part at a time chewed up 5 yes 5 tires. I do believe sway bar links are bad. Now knowing all this do u think the same?? ?
Any help and suggestions I'm at wits end with this car
The Axles, lower control arms and struts have nothing to do with the steering. I know you are trying to fix it yourself, but you might need some help from a pro. The pump is electric and not hydraulic. I do hope you bought the car super cheap, it doesn't sound like it was a good buy at all.
