have a inpala ss 2006 if it sits for a couple of weeks the battery about 3yrs old is dead.is it possible the on star system could kill the battery/

It is possible but unlikely... What brand is the battery? It is much more likely that your battery is just old and needs to be replaced.

if there was a constant draw on the battery it could kill it, but the battery is probibly just at the end of its life.
