2006 Malibu brake

I have a 2006 Chevy Malibu LT V6 with 3.5 L sometimes
the car will not come out of park when it does the brake
pedal is pushed so far that the ABS motor turns on and
then it releases the button on the gearshift.I replaced the
brake master cylinder and now The brake lights stay on. If
someone has had this problem or knows about it please
tell me how to fix

did you bench bleed the master cylinder ? and the rest of the system ? with ABS you'll need to trigger the ABS with a certain scanner to bleed the brakes properly , the solenoid for the gear shift may work from a switch at the brake peddle or sensor at the distribution valve

the brake light switch shouldn't be working when at rest , you should get the pedal working decent once you bleed the system , might have to do it twice , then find the gear solenoid switch
