Why won't door chime, key, chime and radio work.

The battery died the other day. After changing the battery neither the door or key chime would sound. Also the radio won't come on. The radio is not the original, it is a Kenwood. I have replaced all fuses for the radio that I see on the fuse covers. Anyone know a solution?

Behind your aftermarket radio there will be an adapter that makes the chime. Your factory radio used to do it so when you had the aftermarket one installed they would have used the adapter and it sounds like it may have gone bad or maybe came loose

Now this is for the factory radio here. What I have is a 2006 GMC Yukon XL. It has the Bose 6 disc changer with satellite radio and onstar. What I had done prior was I added on a module to add a AUX port to my factory radio. About 3 months later, my battery was acting up and ultimately I had t replace it. When I did that, the radio didn't work or did the chimes for lights, keys, seat belt and so on. Well, what I did is this: I removed the AUX module while the vehicle was running. Right away my vehicle and the radio connected and everything works. I now have yet to make sure the satellite radio comes back on and then my AUX module when I hook it back up.
Bogiealbert, I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 just replaced the battery and alternator. For some reason my vehicle now will not start. I know u posted that question years ago but Did you ever find out what was wrong with it.
