If you have one on your car, it would be located in the glove box where it could be locked away from a "valet" or car porter person from getting to it. If it is not there, then you probably don't have one. Placing it anywhere else in the car would be stupid on the car designer's part. I have seen car engineer's do some pretty messed up things too, because I wonder do they even work on vehicles, but that would be the only spot if you have one.

If the bypass switch is not in the glove compartment, where else would it be?

Toyota (and some other car makers) actually dropped the ability to keep valets out of your trunk for several years to save about $15 of cost. I discovered it on an Avalon I was about to buy a few years ago and walked out on the sale...idiots!
