When you replace the timing belt, it's advised to do the water pump at the same time, labor costs are expensive for this procedure. Allow $1,000, but, you may find an independent mechanic who will do it for less.

My 2007 Chevy Aveo cost me $659.54 on November 2018 which included Water pump and timing belt (not tentioner or idler) came with 1 yr warranty.
