Do I need to replace my fuel filter

Asked by Miguel Jul 07, 2015 at 11:39 AM about the 2002 Toyota Avalon XL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I changed out all the coils and spark plugs.... Car starts out running well, in fact can
hardly hear it running... After driving for 10 minutes, the engine begins running rough. I was
told that it could be either the fuel filter or something to do with the heating and cooling
system....

If filter hasn't been changed in a while it won't hurt.if you can run fuel pressure check when cold and check again when it acts up.

I would do a complete tuneup service. Change all fluids and filters. You already have done the sparkplugs and coils. Could be the fuel filter or something else.
