Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2005 Toyota Avalon is making a funny noise, I know not funny haha but funny odd. It is coming from engine and is best as I can say is a ticking, or clicking. My hubby  always takes care of my car but not here and I don't know if it is something I need to take to dealer or ignore until he gets home in a week. I had the oil changed hoping that would make it stop but same, Starts, runs fine but idk what 2 do. Thank you in advance for any advice

Without hearing the noise or where under the hood its coming from it would be hard to answer. Some possible issues it could be include: Lifters Cams Timing and Timing Belt Bearings (cam, crank) Pulleys If the "ticking" gets much louder, changes pitch or creates a rattle the more you drive. You have a problem, take it to a shop
