2005 chevy blazer won't shift into first
Today I change the tranny fluid in a friends '05 blazer. On the back of the transmission (transmission mount end) there are two electrical connectors. Underneath them is a hair thing wire wrapped around what I assume to be a coil. I noticed as I was putting the pan back on that one of the wires was broken (the one on the left if your laying underneath it with your legs sticking out of the driver side).
The trans now won't shift to 1st in Drive or if manually shifted to 1st, it only takes off in second. I assume that the problem is that wire I broke. What is that part called? Also, is that the problem or is there another reason why the trans is in limp mode?
Thanks for any help.
