Ok...let's make sure we are understanding this issue correctly. First a vehicle has to Crank over properly....like....the Battery and Starter Motor are working correctly. Second...the vehicle's computer allows Spark and Fuel so the engine will Fire Up(Start) and thus run. I t seems your vehicle will not ...Crank. Is this correct?
Yes my car will not crank I bought a new ignition core the part that connect to the igniter it was not that I got my starter tested it came back it pass the voltage test and current test but it failed the drive extension tesr
OK...sounds like you need to replace the starter motor. Make sure the battery is disconnected before replacing the SM. Get back to us with result.
OK I did disconnected the battery and bought a new start it cranked right on up but my gas was low so as I was driving to the gas station it cut back off
When you get her filled up with gas....pull the dip stick from the engine and inspect the quantity and quality of the engine oil...BEFORE...you start her back up. We should make sure the engine oil is between the "add"...and.."full" marks. We also need to smell the oil on the dip stick.....if it smells like gas.....do not start the engine. Feel the oil between your fingers. It should feel smooth not gritty. Check the color of the oil...if it's pitch black...have the oil changed as soon as possible. Get back to us with results.
Hi Jerrica....did you ever resolve the issues with this vehicle.
