AC is not staying cold while it's idling

A.C condenser coil not getting enough air flow across the coils most likely clogged with dirt and bugs causing little to almost no air flow across the coils clean condenser with garden hose and nozzle to get good air back across coils. If radiator sets in front of condenser clean it also so that air flow can get to condenser.
