Primary and ac Radiator fan not working

Asked by Leslie Nov 04, 2018 at 01:17 AM about the 1999 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ac fan doesnt turn on. Primary fan doesnt turn on. Ran a
direct line to the battery & tested both fan motors. They
work. Changed the relay. Changed the fan switch. Changed
the temp sensor.  Tested the fans again. But when
connected, BOTH still wont turn on. Overheats at red light.
While driving, I can smell overheating, but the cluster reads
normal. PLS. Help.

If you change the relay, change the temperature sensor and the fans are working. Your problem may be in the wiring going to the fan check the continuity other wire coming from the relay. To make sure that it has electricity Going Through the Wire to the fans. Make sure that the wires are connected correctly on the back of the fan and the sensors on the radiators temperature switch.
