why does my headlights and brake lights stay on when i turn off my car
How long do they stay on? And are your brake lights on or are just your rear lights on (brake lights are brighter than rear lights).

use an inspection mirror and have someone stand behind the car so you know when they go off~
these headlights may have an auto/on auto/off switch on your console~ check for that~
